Frydenberg started his career with Royal Viking Line, he signed on with SeaDream in September 2009, and has led hotel, culinary, crewing and purchasing for the line.

Before SeaDream, he launched the cruise division for Executive Search International in Orlando. Previous positions included SVP and Chief Operations Officer at Silversea Cruises and VP Hotel Operations at Disney Cruise Line as a member of the management team that planned and launched Disney’s first ships.

Earlier, Frydenberg was SVP Hotel Operations for Crystal Cruises where he was involved in the research, implementation and development of the brand. He began his cruise career with Royal Viking Line as a hotel manager and moved up to VP Hotel Operations.

Carlson was SeaDream’s original VP Hotel Operations when the line was founded 10 years ago. For the past eight years he has served as the General Manager of International Cruise Management Agency in Oslo, which provides crew management for vessels owned by NYK (Crystal Cruises and NYK Cruises).
