cruise
sales executive Maurice Zarmati has been engaged to consult for Carnival Corp.'s
new social-impact brand, Fathom.
Zarmati, whose career spans 44 years, was CEO of Costa North America from 2008
to 2011. Prior to that, Zarmati was Carnival Cruise Line's longtime vice
president of sales. He began his cruise career as a regional sales manager at
Carnival Cruise Lines in 1973.
“Maurice has been a trusted adviser to Carnival Corporation and me for more than
four decades, beginning in 1972 when my father invited Maurice to be among the
small group of founding members of the Carnival Cruise Lines team,” said Micky
Arison, chairman of Carnival Corp. “I look forward to Maurice’s wealth of
industry expertise furthering the success of this new category of cruise being
pioneered by Fathom.”
Zarmati’s role will focus on marketing tools for travel agents interested in
selling the new brand. |
