Larry Pimental and Azamara should go well together

With Larry Pimentel taking over as president/CEO of Azamara Cruises expect to see some an increase in both brand and agent awareness.

In this segment of the industry Azamara Cruises have not lived up the luxury brand expectation RCI have been trying to promote them as.  But with Larry Pimental at the reins expect to see that change.

With Pimental they now have a leader identified with successful small ship cruising over the years as proven with his time with both Seabourn and Seadream.

For his part, Pimental said that his initial goal will be to increase awareness. "This is not a broken brand," he says. "I have walked into broken brands. The surveys at sea don't indicate the deliverable is broken. Clearly, from what I can hear from the agent community, they're not quite aware of the brand to the extent they need to be. That will be my focus, to make people aware how the brand is defined, how it's positioned, and how they can articulate it."
