NCL America is Norwegian Cruise Lines new baby.  A company formed to operate their American flagged ships which are currently cruising Hawaiian Island itineraries. NCL hopes to be able to expand to mainland cruising which would enhance the choices of homeland cruising to them, then add to that the benefits of "tax free" cruising for corporate cruisers as well as the Free Style dining concept which they have pioneered and an NCL cruise makes a lot of sense.
