Stad Amsterdam |
The Clipper Stad Amsterdam was built at the
initiative of Randstad and the municipality of Amsterdam. The ship is
registered under the Dutch flag, as passenger ship. It has authentic
square rigging and a pointed bow. On the 60-metre long, wooden deck, the
passengers can enjoy the towering rigging, impressive yards and endless
quantities of rope.
The Stad Amsterdam can be privately booked for business events, luxury
cruises and adventurous sailing trips.

Amenities:
The ship has 14 luxury
cabins, a spacious dining room (for dinners and presentations) and an open-air
bar.
The
Long Room: Has a spacious bar and a small
library. It can accommodate 55 people for a served meal.
The presence of warm-coloured woodwork, the extensive use of brass and the round
staircase with elegant spindles are reminiscent of the legendary Cutty Sark.
Naturally, all the modern audio-visual means for presentations and the like are
available in this room
|
Cabins:
The 14 guest cabins are on the waist deck /
midship and each have a porthole, telephone (satellite connection) and air
conditioning. All cabins have their own bathroom, with wash stand, shower and
toilet. The wood and copper trimmings give the cabins a classical feel. They all have the same layout and
surface area (11m” standard-size) and are for
double occupancy. They can, however, easily be
adjusted to accommodate three or four people.
