m.s. Arion

MV Arion

The 6000 gross tons Arion was extensively refurbished to offer her 320 passengers an intimate atmosphere. Her size making her particularly suited to cruise to the least visited areas, unspoiled, little-crowded ports, rarely seen from today’s mega liners.  Arion was constructed as “Istra” in 1965 at Pula, in Croatia, and was converted to full time cruising at Trieste in 1969. Purchased by Arcalia Shipping, the ship was completely reconstructed in Lisbon. Her interiors were designed and decorated to create a subtle atmosphere of light blending into soft colors through its new public rooms and passenger cabins
