Clelia II complies with the latest international and U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations and is outfitted with the most current navigational and communications technology as well as with retractable fin stabilizers for smooth sailing, an ice-strengthened hull and a fleet of Zodiacs. Clelia II is staffed by 60 European officers and crew. Taken together with her limited guest capacity, excellence of design, craftsmanship and material, Clelia II's spaciousness and intimate ambience combine to make her ideal for distinctive cultural and expedition voyages.

  • Itinerary: Cruises go from Istanbul and Athens to various Turkish and Greek ports. There are two voyages around the coast of India, and three in the Indian Ocean to the Seychelles and Madagascar, Zanzibar and Mombasa. Other cruises go from Israel to Cyprus, Turkey and Greece and from Syria to Egypt.
  • Cabins: 42. Cabins range from 210 to 285 sq. ft. All cabins are outside and have queen-size beds, a sitting area, refrigerator, telephone, TV/VCR, individually controlled air-conditioning, and a private bath with shower (no tubs). Four suites (440 and 520 sq. ft.) have separate bedroom and living room, and two baths. Suites on the sun deck have a private verandah.
  • Dining: There is an open-seating dining room with one seating. Special diets are accommodated.
  • Facilities and Activities: Cabins are located forward and public rooms are aft. There is a small dip pool, a piano bar, lounge, gym, sauna, hairdresser, small library, and medical facilities. There are guest experts who lecture on the history and ports visited on the journeys.
  • Typical Rates and Special Deals: A 10-night Israel, Turkey, Greece cruise package with one hotel night, including shore excursions, starts at $6,995 per person double occupancy. An Istanbul to Athens cruise with seven nights on board, one night in Athens and two nights in Istanbul, including shore excursions.
