This report is on the  upgrades to Wind Surf in “Degrees of Excellence” program. Wind Surf is the first of the 3 sailing vessels to receive the latest upgrades…All ships will be complete by the end of 2007.

Upgrades:

New Suites:
Two new luxury Bridge Suites of 495 square feet each featuring One and ½ baths living room, dining entertainment area, whirlpool tub and separate shower, complimentary laundry and pressing, canapés, two large flat screen TVS, Bose sound system and Ipod units, DVD player with surround sound and flip up in suite dining table.

All Suites and Cabins:
New bathroom open cabinetry, custom dual shower heads, granite countertops, L’Occitane toiletries, make up mirrors in bath and desk area and hair dryers. Also new upgraded linens, towels, duvet covers, waffle bathrobes, flat screen TVs, DVD players and Bose Ipod base stations.

New Library:
The “Yacht Club” features new internet stations, gourmet coffee espresso bar, seating areas with 60” flat panel TV. Plus spaces for complimentary DVDs, CDs, books and destination information in comfortable leather seating area. Modern movies shown throughout the day in addition to in cabins and suites.

Upgraded Bistro:
“Degrees” in former Bistro location offers new menus inspired by chef Joachim Splichal, theme nights and special steaks. Reservations required and can be made on the same day beginning at 0800.

Additional Upgrades:
Elevators, sports platform and navigational aids. Improved sound systems in bars and lounges.

Summary:
The new upgrades to Wind Surf are the beginning of an overall fleet upgrade to all three ships. The cabins and cabin upgrades have been standardized and each ship is in the process of repainting, teak refurbishment and interior soft goods enhancements.

When all ships have completed these improvements, Wind Star Cruises will once again be the first choice in luxury motor sailing incentive programs and full ship charters. The Indonesian and Filipino crew have always offered fantastic service and the cuisine is first class.
